Daffodil Records is hiring a Creative Strategist

Our small office is looking for long term, part time support. Malleable, remote and based in New York City, the role we’re hoping to fill is one shaped like a Swiss Army Knife with the spirit of a Sous Chef. At its root, it’s a marketing position with a lean toward project management and creative strategy, with a lion share of responsibilities living in the realm of content development and copywriting. In this role, you would be working very closely with the founder of this operation (she’s writing this right now), in overseeing the creative marketing strategies and management of clients within the design space from glassware and rugs to floristry.

Graphic design expertise would be highly attractive but isn’t required. What is required is some kind of relevant experience in marketing, confidence in brand identity and voice, and pencil-sharp proficiency with the internet at large from social media (Instagram, Pinterest) and email marketing platforms (Klaviyo, MailChimp) to design tools like Figma. Most importantly, the ideal candidate would be a curious learner with a sensitivity to language, art and design.

Given the remote and part time nature of the role, flexibility would be crucial along with considered and reliable communication. Looking ahead, the right candidate in this role would ideally grow over time into a more full-time postition. At the start, the income for this part time position would be a minimum of 2k/m.

If reading through this has felt the slightest bit serendipitous, please reach out to georgina@daffodilrecords.co with a brief note about your background, interest, and availability.

We are looking to fold someone into the mix as soon as possible.
